![]() ![]() I would not need anything other than those 6' ramps to load on my trailer. Otherwise, the ATV will slip or roll over, leaving you with injuries and hefty repair checks. The wheels need to be lined up with the ramps. All that’s left to do is carefully drive the ATV up the ramps and load it onto the truck. Those are just 6' straight ramps that attach to the trailer so they don't "squirt" out when loading. Standard folding ramps usually fold along their length, so a ramp that is 2ft by 10ft folds up and becomes 2ft by 5ft. Alright, we’ve got the springboard ready. My trailer sits low to the ground and has ramps that came with the trailer. Not sure if I'll ever need to use my RevArc ramps anymore but I'm holding on to them just in case. That said, my original straight 7' ramps were not the greatest but worked however I ended up buying a set of RevArc arched ramps and selling the straight ramps. With a capacity of 1500 lbs (750 lbs each ramp), the ramps are sturdy and versatile enough to load an ATV, 4-wheeler, or lawn mower onto a truck bed. You can use a single ramp or a pair of dual-runners, bi-fold, tri-fold, or otherwise heavy-duty ramps for the best. But my truck is a 2011 F350 so it's design is part of the newer height being seen on modern trucks. Loading Ramp (s): The ramps need to support the weight of the ATV.
